Gunstocks Hydro Dipped in Skulls and Roses with Custom Airbrushed Red

This project was something a bit different and a lot of fun to work on. We started by hydro dipping the gunstock in a bold black-and-white skull and rose pattern, making sure the artwork wrapped cleanly around the length and contours of the stock. Once the base design was down and cured, we took things further.

The roses were carefully masked out by hand and then airbrushed in deep, layered reds to give them a stand-out finish that sits beautifully against the monochrome skulls. This mix of hydro dipping and custom airbrushing gives the piece a depth and character you can’t get from film alone.

The end result is a striking, almost tattoo-style design that feels both artistic and aggressive, with the red detailing adding just the right amount of contrast. A memorable custom piece and one of those jobs where the extra time and attention really pays off.
