Mercedes-Benz Engine Cover Hydro Dipped in Carbon Fibre

For this Mercedes-Benz engine bay upgrade, we refinished the full engine cover in a deep carbon fibre hydro dip to give it a more premium, performance-focused look. The cover has multiple raised sections, contours and recessed areas, so each stage from prep through to dipping required careful handling to ensure the weave flowed smoothly across the entire part.

Once dipped, the cover was finished with a high-gloss clear coat to bring out the depth of the carbon pattern and add strong heat resistant protection suitable for engine bay temperatures. The transformation is subtle but highly effective, giving the bay a clean, modern appearance that stands apart from the standard plastic finish.

A simple yet impactful upgrade that elevates the overall presentation every time the bonnet is opened.
