Mini Cooper Hydro Dipped Carbon Fibre on Engine Bay Plastics and Wheel Arches

This classic Mini Cooper project involved giving several engine bay plastics and exterior arch trims a clean carbon fibre upgrade. The owner wanted a modern, motorsport-inspired touch without losing the charm of the original car, so we prepped each part and hydro dipped them in a tight, glossy carbon weave.

Under the bonnet, the air intake pieces, engine plastics and various covers were refinished to bring some extra contrast to the engine bay. On the exterior, the arch trims were dipped to complement the black paintwork and tie the whole look together.

Because these parts vary in shape, from smooth curves to sharper edges, we took care to keep the carbon pattern flowing naturally across each component. Once dipped, everything was cleared for durability and a deep gloss that really pops in the light.

The end result is a Mini Cooper with a subtle but striking set of upgrades that blend classic styling with a crisp modern finish.
