Guitar Body and Neck Hydro Dipped in White Skulls and Roses

This one was a proper art piece. The customer wanted their guitar to lean into a darker, moodier style something that felt custom without losing the character of the wood beneath. The white skulls and roses pattern gave it exactly that energy.

We prepped the body and neck so the dip could glide over the carved contours, the cutaways, and the headstock curves. The pattern settled beautifully, wrapping around the edges like it was meant to live there. Once the clear coat went on, the contrast really came alive — bright whites against deep blacks, all locked under a gloss finish that feels almost glassy in person.

The result? A guitar that looks like it should be hanging in a studio one minute and on stage under heavy lighting the next. Dark, detailed, expressive and unmistakably one-off.
