Honda Civic Type-R Stereo Surround Hydro Dipped in Carbon Fibre

For this project we refinished the Honda Civic Type-R stereo surround in a clean carbon fibre hydro dip, giving the interior a sharper, more modern look. The surround is a single moulded piece with multiple cut-outs for controls and vents, so the prep and dipping process had to be precise to keep the weave running consistently across all the angles and openings.

After prepping and priming, we applied our carbon fibre pattern, making sure the lines flowed naturally around the curves and recesses. The final clear coat added depth and a high-quality gloss, completely transforming the look of the dashboard area without altering the original fit or function of the part.

A subtle but very effective upgrade that lifts the overall feel of the Civic’s interior while keeping everything OEM-plus and clean.
