Sur-Ron Lightbee Battery Cover Hydro Dipped in Carbon Fibre

For this Sur-Ron Lightbee, the customer wanted a tougher, more premium look for the bike’s battery cover, so we hydro dipped the full unit in our carbon fibre pattern. The cover was fully prepped, primed and refinished to ensure the weave sat cleanly over the sharp edges, mounting points and recessed sections of the part.

Because the Lightbee battery housing has a mix of angles and contours, getting the carbon to wrap naturally across the surface is key. Once dipped, we applied a high-gloss clear coat to bring depth to the weave and add long-term protection against everyday use and trail riding.

The result is a clean, OEM-plus carbon fibre look that instantly upgrades the appearance of the electric bike while keeping everything lightweight and durable.
