A Large, Complex Ferrari Diffuser Dipped at Short Notice

This Ferrari rear diffuser was hydro dipped in carbon fibre at our Stone, Staffordshire workshop. It came to us at short notice after another finisher was unable to take it on because of the size of the part and the complexity of its shape. The diffuser section is large, with deep recesses, sharp returns and vent openings, and the red painted bodywork attached to it had to be fully masked and protected throughout.

Getting a single, unbroken carbon weave over a part this size takes careful setup and a steady dip, so the pattern runs straight across the wide flat areas and wraps into the recesses without stretching. Once dipped, the diffuser was cleared to a deep gloss that sits perfectly against the Ferrari red. If you have a large or difficult part that others have turned away, talk to us about it.
