Air Rifle Stock Hydro Dipped in Pink Venom

Hot Pink Venom on a Bullpup Air Rifle Stock

This air rifle stock was hydro dipped in Pink Venom at our Stone, Staffordshire workshop. Pink Venom is a black-on-clear film, so the stock was first painted in a hot pink basecoat and then dipped, letting the pink show through the black design of snarling creatures and tendrils. The pattern flows over the thumbhole grip, the cheek piece and the recesses around the action, and the finished rifle is shown fitted with its scope and silencer.

Because the film is clear between the black detail, the painted basecoat sets the colour, so the same design can be done over almost any shade. Every recess and cut-out was prepped so the film wraps cleanly into the edges, then the stock was cleared to a deep gloss to protect it in use.
