Electric Blue Lightning on a Black Rifle Stock

This rifle stock was hydro dipped in blue lightning at our Stone, Staffordshire workshop. Bright electric blue bolts fork across a deep black base along the full length of the stock, from the butt and cheek piece through the grip to the slim fore-end, and the pattern stays crisp over the textured grip panels as well as the smooth surfaces.

Lightning is a striking choice for a gun stock because the lines follow the curves of the stock and look different from every angle. After dipping, the stock was sealed in a hard-wearing high-gloss clear coat to protect the finish against handling, cases and field use.
