Carbon Fibre Engine Cover and Intake Pipe

The plastic engine cover and intake pipe from this Porsche’s 3.0 V6 S engine were hydro dipped in carbon fibre at our Stone, Staffordshire workshop and refitted, transforming the look of the engine bay whenever the bonnet goes up. The silver centre sections and red filler cap stay as they were, so the carbon weave frames the original detailing and the 3.0 V6 S badge rather than covering it. A gloss lacquer gives the weave real depth, and the long intake pipe carries the same pattern along its full curved length.

Engine covers are among the most popular parts we dip, because they are easy to remove, sit front and centre whenever the bonnet is open, and respond brilliantly to a carbon finish. The film wraps cleanly around mounting points, ribs and badge recesses, and the lacquered surface copes with the heat cycles an engine bay goes through.
