Tattoo Style Chicana Art on a Vented Safety Hat

This safety hat was hydro dipped in Chicana at our Stone, Staffordshire workshop. The greyscale design features sugar skull women, roses, script lettering and revolvers drawn in a tattoo style, and it covers the vented shell from the brim to the crown, with the faces landing on the sides of the hat where they are easiest to see.

Tattoo inspired films like Chicana have a lot of fine line detail, so a clean, even dip matters to keep the faces sharp over the ridges and vents. The hat was then sealed in a deep gloss clear coat that adds depth to the greyscale tones and protects the design for daily use on site. We dip safety hats and helmets in skulls, characters, carbon, camo and custom company branding.
